BILLET A HAWK

The Sheridan Hawks are always looking for families interested in hosting a player during the hockey season. Many of the rostered players will be leaving home to join us in Sheridan, some for the first time.

A billet, or host family, is where a player lives during the season. This is a player’s home-away-from-home. Being in a supportive billet family is immensely important for a Junior hockey player. For the families and player, this can be a very rewarding experience that builds a solid relationship and supportive environment to a student athlete.

There is compensation for host families to offset the cost of billeting a player. In addition, billeting policies have been developed to create a balanced and supportive environment for both the player and family.

If you would like additional information about the benefits and responsibilities of a billet family please contact Jolene Hallcroft, our billeting coordinator.  Interested families may fill out the contact form below or email us at billet@sheridanhawks.com and Jolene will be in touch with you.
