Head Coach – Andy Sheib

Coach Scheib will start his fourth year as a junior hockey coach in the NA3HL as head coach for the Sheridan Hawks. Prior to Sheridan, Coach Scheib was the assistant coach for the team when they were the Wisconsin Whalers for two years before becoming the head coach last season.

Coach Scheib is from Sun Prairie, WI. He grew up playing hockey around the Midwest; playing high school for Sun Prairie along with Team Wisconsin before and after the high school season. Scheib played two seasons of his junior hockey career in Dubuque, IA for the Dubuque Thunderbirds where he went on to win 2 national CSHL championships. Coach Scheib then went on to play four years of college hockey at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Scheib has also worked with the Jamestown Rebels in the North American Hockey League, and has also assisted in USA Hockey development camps. As a coach, he takes pride in helping young players be knowledgeable on all the options and opportunities they have throughout their careers.

Scheib graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and is an outgoing individual who pursues a focused environment every day. On and off the ice, he pushes his players to not only become better athletes, but better men who positively contribute to society.

Assistant Coach – Chad Bailey

Coach Bailey has just finished his third season with the Arizona State Sun Devils ACHA D1 hockey program, where he was the Associate Head Coach and Assistant GM. In his first season with the Sun Devils, he helped lead the team to a national tournament appearance and finish the season ranked 10th in the country. In his second season, the team ended the year ranked 25th in the country.

Prior to working with ASU, he coached the DYHA Jr Sun Devils youth hockey program. Bailey has coached players who have played for team USA in the World University Games, NCAA D1, and some who have gone on to play professional hockey in Europe.

Bailey has also worked with the Jamestown Rebels in the North American Hockey League as well as the Utah Outliers in the Western States Hockey League, has assisted in USA Hockey development camps.

Coach Bailey is a Michigan native out of Walled Lake where he grew up playing youth hockey at Lakeland Ice Arena. Playing the game his whole life, he ended his playing career with the Metro Jets in the NA3HL to focus on school. Wanting change, he decided to transfer to Arizona State University where he studied communications and ultimately got back to the game he loves when he found hockey in the desert.
